Everybody needs a Financial Whisperer. Someone who gives them:

  • permission to grow in their relationship with money,
  • the tools needed to do so, and
  • the encouragement to take personal responsibility for their money actions – present and future.

For ten years, I've been that financial whisperer for everyone from paying clients, to friends in a bind, to employees, to the person seated next to me on a long overseas flight and to the shuttle driver from the airport to the hotel. And hundreds and hundreds in between.

As for “whispering” to my readers, it brings me massive joy when I hear that someone took an action that turned his or her life around. Getting out of debt. Learning to budget. Being freed of old money demons. Taking charge of their money. Paying off a mortgage. Saving and investing. Prioritizing their use of money. Forgiving themselves. Taking grand trips. In short, fulfilling whatever the personal goal might be.

Before today, I’ve controlled the agenda: I’ve chosen the topics I write about. Occasionally I’ll read in a comment that someone would like to know about something in particular. And I honor that request either anonymously in an article or directly in a note or call.

I’d like to do the same now.

If you've read my articles before, have you ever said, “That makes me think of something: I wish she’d explain ____________________.”

Or is there anything about money (with the exception of investment advice; I’m not licensed!) that has baffled you or intrigued you or tripped you up?

Make my day and let me know in the comments section below how I can help you move forward on your journey with money. Let me be your financial whisperer. I’ll find a way to “whisper” the information to you.
