Born in Shanghai, China to Iraqi-British parents, Alice Dent earned a scholarship to a university of her choice.

Mary moved frequently as a child, but now enjoys living at Beatitudes Campus with her oldest daughter.

Leroy Calbom is a United Church of Christ minister.

Georgiana Palmer worked for much of her career as a special education teacher and high school guidance counselor.
