Audrey Shafer

Almost 22 years after graduating high school, Audrey decided to continue her educational journey. She earned a bachelors degree in business administration and achieved her goal of a 4.0 GPA in attaining a master’s degree in business administration at Firelands Campus in Bowling Green, Ohio. She then went on to a Ph.D. program in educational administration.

In 1990, she gleaned attention by opening “Das Shafer Puppen Haus” to display her extensive collection of dolls to the public.

When her husband Donald was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, Audrey cathartically wrote about her worries and her husband’s condition. These journal entries eventually became the skeleton for her 254-page novel “Where Does the Wind Go?”

Audrey now enjoys her retirement at Parkvue Community in Sandusky, Ohio.
