Becky Sbrollini
Becky Sbrollini, an educator, manages a community garden and gives her time to other causes. She was born in New Jersey and graduated from the State University of New York at Cortland with a bachelor's degree in education. She held numerous primary teaching positions in New York, New Jersey and North Carolina and was instrumental in forming one of the original Head Start programs in New York. She also spent several years as a dental assistant/office manager, dealing with patients and Medicare problems on a daily basis.
She lives at Galloway Ridge in Pittsboro, N.C., where she volunteers in the library, assists the Chatham County Alzheimer's 5K run and walk, and helps organize the Cora Food Bank donation program.
