Colleen Doyle and David Jackson

Colleen Doyle has conducted research in universities in Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States since completing a doctorate in psychology (memory training and intellectual disability) at The University of Adelaide. Among her awards received are: Gerontological Society of America postdoctoral summer fellowship to investigate methods of assessing quality of care in residential aged care; Alzheimer's Australia Research Pty Ltd Travelling Scholarship to study consumer involvement in dementia care research, policy and evaluation in the U.K. and U.S. She is the co-founder of the Australian Psychological Society’s Psychologists in Ageing Special Interest Group. She has written and published over 65 academic and technical papers in the area of aged care. 

David Jackson acquired his doctorate in philosophy from the University of Melbourne, Australia. He is a researcher of stroke and dementia patients, and frequently writes about gerontology and senior living. His most recent articles focus on senior mental health, spiritual care and well-being. Focusing on elderly health, David Jackson writes for The Conversation.
