Dosia Carlson

Dosia Carlson—educator, minister, and community organizer— earned a Ph.D in religion, higher education and counseling from the University of Pittsburgh. After fourteen years on the faculty at Defiance College in Ohio, she joined the staff at Beatitude Campus, Phoenix, Arizona. 

Dosia has authored several books and numerous articles. Throughout her life she has written poetry and composed hymns, many of which appeared in hymnals of various denominations. She also enjoys leading journal-writing retreats. Dosia now resides at Beatitudes Campus and is pastor Emeritus at nearby Church of the Beatitudes, United Church of Christ.
