Senior Correspondent

Faye Beal

Faye Beal is a longtime resident of Cary, N.C.  A retired educator, she taught U.S. history and North Carolina history along with government for most of her 32-plus years.

After retirement from public education, she worked for several years with the Center for Civic Education, securing resources for teachers and instructing them in new and innovative ways to teach government. She loved teaching and says she will always be a teacher at heart. But now she gives her time to other passions: music, creative dance, faith endeavors, the political process and, above all, her family.
