Gerry Ritter

A lifelong resident of North Carolina, Gerry Ritter is a retired educator and school administrator. She was born in Charlotte, grew up in Madison and Robbins, then came to Raleigh for college, earning bachelor's and master's degrees at Meredith College. 

She started her career as an elementary school teacher, became a principal, then concluded her work as an administrator in the school district central office. Her contributions to North Carolina education earned her induction into the Order of the Long Leaf Pine.
