Jordan Rau has been a senior correspondent at Kaiser Health News since its start in 2009. He previously worked at the Los Angeles Times, where he covered California government and health care politics in Sacramento. He also reported for Newsday in New York, the Concord Monitor in New Hampshire and two newspapers in Vermont. He is a published author with The New York Times, The Washington Post, NPR, USA Today and other media outlets, and graduated from Wesleyan University.
