Larry Githens

Larry Githens, a native of California, graduated from California State University with a major in political science and obtained a master’s degree in public administration from National University. 

In 1997, after a 30-year career working with juveniles and adults, he retired from the County of San Diego as a probation officer.  

At 78 years "young" he enjoys a life of writing, photography and political research. Most of his time is now devoted to being an activist and writer on the environment, election reform, immigration rights and supporting local progressive candidates.
