Louise May

Louise May spent her childhood in Colorado. After Pueblo College and the University of Colorado, she married William May in 1950. They have two sons, a daughter, two grand-daughters and two great-grandchildren. Because of Bill’s work as a petroleum engineer, they lived in small towns in the Rocky Mountain region until 1956. After 13 years in California, they lived in Louisiana for two years before going to Ethiopia in 1971. After Emperor Haile Selassie was deposed, the oil exploration project was closed. They lived in the Netherlands for a year before returning to Bakersfield. They now live at Rosewood Retirement Community.
