Marian Leah Knapp

Marian Leah Knapp is a writer and advocate for a new vision of aging. She lives in Newton, Mass., where she writes a regular column on aging for the Newton TAB. She is the author of three books, including “Aging in Places: Reflective Preparation for the Future.”

Marian earned her Ph.D. at age 70 from Antioch University New England. Her goal was to investigate the total environment in which people age and to use what she learned to benefit her peers and community. She is chair of the Newton Council on Aging.
