Mark Canada is Professor of English and Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at Indiana University Kokomo.
He is the author, co-author, or editor of five books, including the new textbook "Introduction to Information Literacy for Students" (Wiley, 2017) and the forthcoming "Thomas Wolfe Remembered," as well as "Literature and Journalism in Antebellum America" (Palgrave Macmillan, 2011). His essays on Edgar Allan Poe, Thomas Wolfe, Benjamin Franklin, Rebecca Harding Davis, and other subjects have appeared in The Conversation, The Chronicle of Higher Education, American Literary Realism, Southern Cultures, Journalism History, New Directions for Teaching and Learning, The Academic Minute, Poe in Context, and other journals and books.
