Pat King

Pat King, married to Bill for 59 years, had her first child at age 17 and her last at age 38. In between there were abundant other children, broken arms, wild Christmases, teenage angst, dogs, cats and Guinea pigs (who ate their young). If she had the choice to do it all over again, she'd jump at the chance. She wrote early, late at night and in department store restrooms.

Today she prays for peace, forgiveness and in gratitude. She is presently the editor of a campus-wide publication at Wesley Homes in Des Moines, Wash.
