Richard Rood
Richard Rood, PhD, is a Professor at the University of Michigan in the Department of Climate and Space Sciences and Engineering (CLaSP), and he is also appointed in the School of Natural Resources and the Environment. He teaches several courses on climate change and the use of climate-knowledge in planning and management. Additionally, as a member of the Senior Executive Service at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Richard received recognition for his ability to lead both scientific and high performance computing activities. Richard blogs about climate change for the Weather Underground and Climate Policy and currently writes for The Conversation.
