Tena Koehler

Tena Koehler is a retired teacher and active member of Fairhaven Community, a United Church Homes senior living campus in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. 

She is a lifelong resident of the state. Born Kathryn Christena in 1939 in Sycamore, she was the third child of Christean and Roy Moyer. Her siblings, Dale and Martha Lou, welcomed her to the family.

Named after two grandmothers but nicknamed Tena Kay and eventually just Tena, she attended Sycamore School and graduated from Sycamore High School in 1957. Tena and Wallace (Wally) Koehler married in 1958.

She graduated from Bowling Green State University and taught fifth grade for more than 30 years.

Tena and Wally have two daughters, six grandchildren, and four great-granddaughters.
