Teri Merrill

Teri Merrill, of Winchester, Virginia, has been writing professionally since 1982, when she began with a hospital trade magazine in Chicago. She moved to Washington, D.C., where she wrote for various health care publications and became the bureau chief for a trade magazine for oncologists. She moved again, this time to Dallas, Texas, and wrote for various patient-focused and allied health care publications. With her latest move to the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, she has been writing for her town newspaper, The Winchester Star, focusing on religion, gardening and feature stories.
