Outside Epiphany

Warmth on a winter day 
we will take without
worry though we should
worry though weary of 
worry and in exchange witness
not one
not two
but three lizards
on the wall near
the church's door.
These three will stay
outside, content
(so we may claim),
trinity in name
without striving
for a season.
