Les Ewen

Les Ewen has actively written poetry, prose and children’s stories for over 50 years and has taught in elementary school for 30 years. As president of the Carteret County Historical Society he oversaw the building of what was then called the History Place in Morehead City, N.C. He has supervised elementary school publications and published one children’s book, “Looking for Mom.”  A resident of Galloway Ridge in Pittsboro, N.C., Les wallows in the advantages of age and laughs at the disadvantages.
